Hosted by design agency, smallpond and supported by the critically acclaimed designjunction, INTRO/NY returns to New York Design Week at our 201 Mulberry space to showcase a line up of international brands. Opening on Thursday, May 15th, they will be presenting carefully selected designs from 12 leading brands. For all you shoppers out there, there will be an area for visitors to shop on site. The showcase is open to the public and free to visit!
A few of the exhibitors debuting new lighting and furniture include Castor, Decode, Massproductions, Modus, Muuto, Resident and VEry Good & Proper. In the pop-up retail zone you’ll be able to shop design accessories from byAMT, All of a piece, Leibal, neo-utilty and tokyobike.
Smallpond was founded in 2005 by Paul Valentine who has received a degree in furniture and product design from Ravensbourne College in London and has worked with some of the top London furniture and product retailers and manufacturers. He created smallpond with the intention of bringing international design to the U.S. Smallpond is a liaison for a mixed range of products for both commercial and residential spaces.
Designjunction showcases the top designs in furniture, lighting and product designs from all over the globe. Since being founded in 2011, they have shown at the London Design Festival, featured over 150 brands and attracted over 21,000 visitors.
