Gregg’s fine dining escapades started at the age of 15, before he mastered his craft by receiving a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management at UMASS and attending the French Culinary Institute. Known for “integrating progressive technique with classic flavor combinations and always paying homage to the ingredients,” Gregg has spent much of his career traveling and cooking remotely between Thailand, Spain and Italy. He has brought his talents to Mario Batali at Casa Mono, New York’s Lupa, and he has worked with Jean Georges and Eric Ripert as the Saucier at Le Bernardin. Most recently, Gregg has shared his culinary knowledge as a Chef-Instructor at The International Culinary Center in New York City.
As a home chef and lifestyle curator, Sarah Ashley Schiear has combined a desire for cooking and entertainment. Sarah doesn’t simply look at a meal as a time to eat, but instead she believes that great food should be “an inspirational experience to be shared and enjoyed.”
One Comment on “ABODE: Second Weekend at the Old Bowery Station”
Gregg and Sarah, we’re sorry that we missed this event. Sample tasting menu looks great. At Melba, we also believe The Old Bowery Station is one of the best spaces for pop up dining. We’re hosting a feast here also on April 22nd. http://melba.co/feasts/230
