Badminton at the park!

January came in like a lion and will end like a lion. Snow lion with frozen eyes for eyes, frozen ears for ears and a traditional Siberian salve-laced cloth wrapped around all four paws to keep them warm. Even a well-prepped snow lion can’t escape winter, but you can. Escape winter and the snow lion by dipping into Openhouse Gallery’s Park Here at 201 Mulberry St. We specialize in moody, ice-cold beast avoidance, and nothing strikes fear in the heart of a snow lion like badminton. The translucent nets, racquets and shuttlecocks look scarily similar to the Irkutsk Oblast hunting tools.

Now we’re equipping the park with a badminton set. Pair badminton with plush custom-made grass, super tall ceilings, oversized beanbags, hammocks, blazing-fast WiFi, food vendors and the sound of chirping birds. You get spring and snow-lion safety. Starting Thursday, play badminton for free at Park Here.
