Edible Manhattan’s Festival of 7 Ingredients

Openhouse Gallery was happy to host Edible Manhattan’s Festival of 7 Ingredients. People came, they saw, and they ate. The food was delicious and the beer was cold. It was the perfect tasting experience for all who came.

The festival of food featured green garlic & chives, lamb, oysters, peas, rhubarb, strawberries and yogurt. It was a the perfect Saturday to enjoy scrumptious delights created by New York’s most creative chefs.

Festival of 7 Ingredients was held Saturday June 18 from 6-9 pm at Openhouse Gallery on 201 Mulberry St. Edible Manhattan and Edible Brooklyn tapped Bubby’s to make a strawberry-rhubarb pie; Hundred Acres to cook up some Naked Cowboy oyster stew; Carino to do their green garlic and chives quesadillas with yogurt salsa.

Macao Trading Company braised pork belly skewers and serve em with pickled rhubarb and strawberries; Bobo made spicy lamb salad with pea greens, rhubarb and yogurt (hey, that’s cheating!); Palo Santo made tacos; and PRINT has rhubarb and roasted strawberries with mascarpone cheese.
