On Thursday October 18th, Openhouse and Google Play hosted the Google Musicians Gallery, a special showcase event for CMJ badgeholders, musicians and industry guests. The showcase encouraged musicians to make the most out of the opportunities that Google offers. Artists encountered ways to sell their original music using Google Play, how to connect with their fans through Google+, lessons on how to secure licenses for their cover songs with Limelight, and assistance to help monetize their videos through Youtube. Google also offered free headshots for artists and tips on how to optimize their website for Google Search. The musical showcase was headlined by Monsters Calling Home, Little Green Cars and Duologue. Guests rocked out to awesome tunes and kicked back with a few drinks at one of the most insightful events of CMJ Music Marathon 2012.
