May 30th
Come May 30th, Sean John of Spur Tree prepares a 4 course sit down dinner.
Bob sang “ Who Feels It Knows It” . In our rendition of Who Tastes it Knows it , Sean John from Spur Tree on Orchard Street cooks up a wicked Asian inspired Jamaican meal that is paired with tunes spun by one of his ever polite, but rudeboy nonetheless, Japanese DJ’s spinning classic Reggae.
Canape: Ackee and Cod with Bacon on Steamed Buns
First Course: Jam Asian Mandarin Salad: Organic Mixed Baby Greens, Pomegranate, Hemp Seeds, Ramen, Toasted Sesame Vinaigrette
Second Course: Vital Delight: Steamed Fish with Seasonal Jamaican Herbs, Choy Sam, Breadfruit Tempura
Third Course: Marinated Jerk Duck, Mango Salsa, June Plum Reduction, Rice and Peas
Dessert: White Chocolate Cheesecake with Asian Pears and Raspberry-Pear Sauce with Assorted Tropical Sorbets
