Eat well and boogie for a cause! Tonight Leiti Hsu, the “roving gastronome,” celebrates her birthday and does it for the kids at The Old Bowery Station 6PM-2AM.
Hsu’s Big Benevolent Birthday Bash will raise money for Wellness in the Schools, a grass roots organization with the mission to inspire healthy eating, and environmental awareness and fitness as a way of life for kids in New York City and across the country.
Ticket donations increments from $20 to $200 get you access to the following:
EATS & DRINKS
School cafeteria classics but better than you remember, from 7-9PM.
Shiraz Noor (Aska restaurant) personally serving up Nordic potables, and shots of Red Hare, their rendition of that other energy drink that starts with “Red…”
Sweets by Katzie-Guy Hamilton, a Top Chef: Just Desserts finalist.
Jenny Perri, Kevin Sickles, Christopher Turner, and Patrick O’Meara, all recent grads of the culinary institute of America and Leiti Hsu’s “Dream Team.”
LIVE MUSICS AND DANCING from 6PM-2AM
Get groovy with ragtime pianists Joel Forrester, who composed the theme for NPR’s “FRESH AIR.”
Rock out with Tanner Walle.
