Leti Salama, from Leti’s Catering, will be hosting a Spanish themed cooking class at The Old Bowery Station. Originally from Spain, Leti has instructed hundreds of students in the unique traditions of Spanish cooking. Leti will show you how to make the perfect paella and incorporate it into a three-course meal, beginning with authentic gazpacho and ending in a sweet dessert. While Leti explains each step, you will chop, prep, peel, sauté and get hands-on with each stage of every dish, sipping sangria and enjoying Spanish music as you go.

All cooking material will be provided during the two hour class and wine and sangria pairings will be served throughout the process. After the class enjoy the fruit of your labor with a one hour dinner.

Once the meal is complete, everybody will set the table and enjoy the wonderful Spanish flavors together. Leave with a folder containing the recipes so you can replicate the meal, and the process, at home.
