Openhouse not only gives companies and brands the location for their events in NYC, but they also do event production. With as many as 250 events coming through our spaces a year, we’ve know our fair share about the event production world.

With all the questions that come up when producing and planning an event, it can help to have someone by your side with all the answers. When you choose Openhouse spaces, you’ll also get someone to help you out with all of the questions that might pop-up in event production about things like budgets, liquor license, event insurance, rental companies etc.

We also produce our own events that we host ourselves. For four years we’ve put together the Big Cheesy, which is a grilled cheese competition. Folks who  bought tickets came to the 201 Mulberry space and sampled some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches from various restaurants around NYC. This years two day Big Cheesy event was a sold out hit!

The Openhouse team was also the brains behind 2012 and 2013’s Park Here. For this event, the space was transformed into looking like a park with grass, trees, water and bushes in the dead of winter. We also produced PlayBeautiful a world-cup viewing pop-up, but most recently, we  hosted The Mac Daddy with Time Out New York at the 201 Mulberry space. People came down to sample yummy mac ’n’ cheese dishes from NYC restaurants.
