Park Here returns to Openhouse Gallery!

Openhouse Gallery has the best grass in New York City. It’s free, indoors and only available at 201 Mulberry St. in Nolita. That means the pop-up park is back! Park Here is bursting with foliage, colorful murals and plush custom-made grass. It’s Central Park in Spring with a fountain, park benches, bistro tables, hammocks and a slew of imaginative lounge furniture. Through Feb. 15, we’re teaming up with a handful of friends to give Winter the finger. Screw the cold, the Christmas music, the mad rush of the holidays and the brutal cold of Manhattan’s Winter months.

Instead, we kick off the 75-degree pop-up park with RS Fest, Rolling Stone‘s ultimate summer music festival featuring live performances by Dawes, Hacienda, Music Unites Youth Choir, Freelance Whales, Ximena Sarinana, Deer Tick, MNDR and Gary Clark Jr. RS Fest also brings Wines that Rock wine tastings, free BBQ from The Shop Brooklyn, a blogger bar with Acer and Asus computers. Rolling Stone also brought on Seattle-based-but-born-of-a-Brooklyner Starbucks to pour Christmas Blend in the park. It’s free an so is the augmented reality experience the RS team whipped up for the pop-up park.
