The third annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade returned to Openhouse Gallery as The {NewNew} and Etsy curated 50 artists and designers to bring Christmas early. Pop-up shoppers were treated to hand, house, home-made creations in this one-day Openhouse Gallery pop-up market. Every purchase you made included a raffle ticket increasing the chance of winning special creations like custom tote bags. There was jewelry, clothing, furnishing toys and body products — all designed and produced locally.
Doors opened at 11 am and ran through 8 pm. Artists from across the tri-state area were here for the show including Kimm Alfonso, a silkscreen artist, Karin Persan of Better Than Jam, Lisa Fu, MaryAnne LoVerme of Wabisabi Brooklyn and a cadre of other creators. As Virginia from Going.com wrote, it was “The best holiday event of the season!” Thanks Virginia, and see you next year.
