Monday we’re going international with London-based We Are Pop Up right here in New York City. Pop ups are our daily bread, and it’s beautiful to see another startup as passionate about building experiences as we are. WAPU is quickly becoming the global guide for pops, they have a sleek site with big pictures and are all about partnerships. Recently, they teamed up with Boxpark, the Shoreditch mall made of shipping containers, to give away a free store. And the new We Are Pop Up app finally gives teams a centralized place to promote their short-term projects. WAPU’s done PUMU (you with me?;) twice before and we dig their Facebook pic, too, so it’s the featured image for this post.
Guest presenters at Pop Up Meet Up are Angelica Olstad of Pop Up Yoga and Ebenezer Bond, founder of WorldUp and Invisible North. Both are creating strong projects all around the city. They’re share insight about how you snag funding from Bing or produce yoga bootcamps at Dekalb Market.
If you haven’t gotten an invite to the meet up yet, that means we don’t know you’re into pop ups yet. Track us down and we’ll send you one. The meet up is Monday, December 10 at the Eventi in the Fashion District.
